Mike Rus, PGA General Manager
Michael Rus has been a PGA member since 1994 with over 35 years of experience in golf club management. Mike began in the golf industry at the age of 13 when he started working at his local municipal course while growing up in New Mexico. He landed his first Head Golf Professional position immediately upon completing his education at Arizona State University. In 2009 he joined Touchstone Golf and has managed semi-private, public and resort facilities. Mike has a proven track record for creating operational efficiencies with improved financial performances at golf properties in Northern California, Colorado and Arizona. He is experienced in all aspects of golf operations management including golf business start-ups, food & beverage operations, course maintenance, membership services, indoor golf simulators, and golf course design. Mr. Rus is currently based in Chandler, AZ and is the Southwest Regional Manager for Touchstone Golf properties in Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas.

Andy Bower, PGA Head Golf Professional
Andy Bower is currently the Head PGA Golf Professional at the San Marcos Golf Course in Chandler Arizona, with over 20 years of golfing experience. In 2014
Andy graduated from the Golf Academy in Chandler, AZ and became a PGA member in 2021. He is also a district director for the Southwest PGA, where he manages Junior Golf tournaments during the summer.
Andy enlisted in the US Army in 1980 and retired in 2003 after serving 24 years. While serving as a military police officer, he was stationed all over the world during his tour of duties. He has been a lead escort for a US Presidential motorcade and a personal bodyguard for a general during Operation Iraq.
Andy is married to Carolyn Jenkins-Bower and enjoys traveling, fishing, teaching (and playing) golf and spending time with family and friends.

Steve Schyberg, PGA Golf Professional
Steve Schyberg has been working at San Marcos since 2018 and has been a member of the PGA for over 25 years. He is also a Certified Fitter for both Ping and Titleist.
Steve is originally from Upstate New York and relocated to Arizona in 1989. Since then, he has been the Head Golf Professional at many golf courses here in the Valley, including Orange Tree Golf Club, Ken McDonald Golf Course, Whirlwind Golf Club, and the Country Club at DC Ranch.
Steve has been married to Terri Schyberg for over 30 years and they have two daughters, Erica and Victoria. He enjoys golfing, landscaping, and spending time with his family, friends, and four dogs.
